Happy New Year!

Dear colleagues, faculty members, and dear students! On the occasion of the coming New Year 2025, I sincerely congratulate all of you with deep respect and warm wishes!

Throughout 2024, thanks to our joint efforts and unity, our institute achieved significant milestones and accomplishments. Today, more than 1,420 students are studying at our institute, supported by around 120 highly qualified professors who contribute to delivering quality education.

Our international cooperation has expanded considerably. In particular, we are launching collaborative projects with medical higher education institutions from countries such as Korea, Kyrgyzstan, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Ireland. It is especially noteworthy that grant projects with Erasmus and TIKA organizations have been initiated. In addition, achieving reporter status in the QS ranking has further strengthened our international reputation.

In 2024, students of our institute distinguished themselves among 42 medical universities at an international olympiad held in Samarkand. Four of our students participated, and all of them won top places.

To support high-potential students, five of our most knowledgeable third-year students were selected to take the USMLE Step 1 exam at the expense of the institute’s budget, with all examination-related costs expected to be fully covered. They are currently actively preparing for the exam with the support of their instructors.

The scientific potential of our institute increased from 24% to 35%. Based on the mentor–student tradition, our students had the opportunity to communicate with qualified physicians and develop their professional interests. Moreover, to support our students, a total of 5 billion 931 million 750 thousand Uzbek soums in grants were allocated from the institute’s budget.

I firmly believe that drawing strength from last year’s achievements, we will reach new goals in 2025. I wish everyone good health, happiness, and great success in scientific and practical activities in the new year. Together, we can accomplish great things!
